All Liquitherm staff have been provided with copies of the current advice and guidance supplied by WHO and the Government in the form of a Coronavirus Health Alert, this Alert will be updated and reissued as advice changes. Additional hand sanitiser units have been put in place along with an increased cleaning schedule. All visitors to site will also be subject to current advice and guidance, and are being asked to declare any potential risk to the business and where necessary meetings will be rescheduled or held via phone/skype
To minimise the risk of infection of other employees, our customers or their service users, all employees have been requested to notify senior management if:
- They have recently returned (within the last 2 weeks) from an affected country or been in close contact with someone who has;
- They present with symptoms of COVID-19. (Should any employee become symptomatic an investigation will be undertaken to identify where the employee has been in the past 2 weeks)
As per current Government recommendations, they would be required to self-isolate for a minimum of 14 days. This could be done without having a major impact upon the operations of the business and its ability to satisfy customer requirements. Liquitherm operates from one Head Office site, utilising extremely robust cloud-based systems that enable any non-production employees to work from home, with minimal disruption to our day to day operations.
In the event of a confirmed case of Coronavirus COVID-19, a risk assessment will be carried out and appropriate measures put in place to contain the spread of the virus, following local Health Board advice.
