heat transfer fluids. |
Hydratech is committed to the
Reneweable Energy Sector and the environment in general. As
members of the Ground Source Heat Pump and Solar Trade Associations
we are actively involved in the development of both sectors
and in regular communication with other members. In line with
our R&D and Environmental Policies, we are constantly working
to improve the operational efficiency and minimise the environmental
impact of our heat transfer fluids. Hydratech are also members
of the Institute of Refrigeration (IOR) and the International
Institute of Refrigeration (IIR). The primary objective of
which is; to keep up to date with the latest industry developments
and network with other refrigeration specialists
Research & Development
is an important part of Hydratech’s expansion plans. To facilitate
the R&D of new heat transfer fluids we have a laboratory
fully equipped with state-of-the-art testing apparatus. In
2007 Hydratech joined forces with Brewfitt Ltd. to develop
a unique secondary refrigerant for use in beer and beverage
coolers. 2Flow was patented in 2008 and is predicted
to replace water and water-glycol mixes in coolers worldwide.
We are happy to work with our customers to develop bespoke
‘solutions’ that might provide both parties with a commercial
advantage.
In 2009, after several years
informal co-operation, Hydratech and Evans Cooling Systems,
Inc. (ECS) of Connecticut USA formalised a strategic alliance
to manufacture and market a revolutionary heat transfer fluid.
Specifically a range of Ethylene Glycol (EG) based products
that are Non-Toxic…..yes, that’s right, Non-Toxic
Ethylene Glycol! The DeToxTM range of EG based products can
be recognised by the DTX suffix. E.g. Thermox DTX. For more
information please refer to the individual product data sheets
and/or the associated Press Release.
Staff development and satisfaction
is a high priority at Hydratech. I believe that any company
is only as efficient and effective as its workforce allows.
All Hydratech employees are valued members of The
Team and encouraged to attend professional and self development
courses. Regular meetings are held to facilitate staff feedback
and suggestions on how to improve operational efficiency. One
positive outcome of this policy has been a low staff turnover
and retention of experience gained. Meet
The Team.
We hope that our Company culture,
products and services prove of interest and that we can assist
with any requirements you might have for specialist heat transfer
fluids.
